This procedure consists of lightening the teeth with gels and hydrogen peroxide or carbamide solutions, used in different concentrations. These can only be applied by the dentist due to their high concentration and correct caring. Teeth tend to darken over time. Changes in color can be caused by extrinsic factors such as the consumption of food and beverages (coffee, tea, soft drinks and sugars), tobacco, incorrect oral hygiene and some mouthwashes. Others, due to intrinsic factors, caused by problems in development, congenital, childhood diseases, intake of medications in childhood such as tetracycline or excess of fluoride. In Spa Dental we offer a combined whitening that consists of two phases, the first is carried out in the dental chair and the second we have the collaboration of the patient since it is through personalized trays, a whitening product must be applied at home for as long as indicated by the dentist.
